Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are inviting passionate Geography Teachers to join schools within the Rotherham community (covering S65 and S66), inspiring learners and fostering a love for the subject.

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ knowledge of physical and human geography while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver geography lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage analytical thinking and discussion about global issues.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to wider school learning initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
