Job Title: Pastoral Manager
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Support pupils’ wellbeing and development while fostering a positive school environment.

GSL Education are delighted to recruit a dedicated Pastoral Manager for a school in the WF4 area of Wakefield.

As a Pastoral Manager, you will provide guidance and support to pupils, working closely with staff and families to address behavioural, emotional, and social needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support pupil welfare, behaviour, and attendance.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to pupils requiring additional support.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to promote wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate records and report concerns to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives promoting positive behaviour and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Pastoral Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and behaviour management skills.
  • Empathetic, proactive, and resilient approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
