Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Can you provide individual support that helps pupils achieve their full potential?

GSL Education are searching for enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join schools across Wakefield’s WF4 district, offering personalised guidance to help learners succeed.

As 1:1 Teaching Assistants (TA), you will work closely with individual pupils, helping them with academic tasks, behaviour, and confidence within the classroom.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored one-to-one support to pupils as 1:1 Teaching Assistants.
  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring they stay engaged and motivated.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
