Job Title: Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are inviting motivated Behaviour Support Staff to join schools within the Wakefield community (covering WF4), providing vital support to pupils who need additional guidance and encouragement.

As Behaviour Support Staff, you will work closely with pupils to promote positive choices, support emotional regulation, and help maintain engagement with learning.

Key Duties:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
  • Build trusting relationships to encourage confidence and positive behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams as Behaviour Support Staff.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs.
  • A patient, calm, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
