About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that develop students’ geographical knowledge, analytical skills, and enthusiasm for the subject. You will support learning across Key Stages, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and contribute to students’ overall development.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons for students across different abilities and year groups.
• Use differentiated teaching strategies to support individual learning needs.
• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment that promotes learning and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, lesson plans, and intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, student progress, and classroom behaviour.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students in learning.
• Flexible, adaptable, and committed to student development and well-being.
