Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for an inspiring RE Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S35), delivering engaging lessons that promote respect, reflection, and critical thinking.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that explore a range of religions, cultures, and ethical perspectives in an inclusive classroom environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality religious education lessons across year groups.
  • Encourage open discussion and respectful debate.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently as an RE Teacher.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
