Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Boroughbridge
Pay Rate: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Daily Supply
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are seeking flexible and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools in the Boroughbridge area on a day-to-day basis.

The school provides a structured learning environment with consistent behaviour expectations. Supply staff are supported by experienced teachers and leadership teams to ensure continuity of learning.
Supply Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

Support pupils during lessons across KS3 and KS4

Assist teachers with classroom management

Provide general classroom and behaviour support

Work with pupils individually or in small groups

Adapt quickly to different classroom settings
Requirements
-
Experience working in a secondary school or similar setting

Flexibility and confidence in supporting different subjects

Strong interpersonal skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
