Location: Sherburn
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to support learners in a secondary school near Sherburn. This role suits a teacher who can build confidence and numeracy skills through clear explanations and structured teaching.

Maths Teacher Responsibilities

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4

Deliver lessons that promote problem-solving and reasoning

Track progress and use data to inform planning

Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

QTS with Maths specialism

Secondary teaching experience

Strong curriculum knowledge

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
