Cover Supervisor
Location: Sherburn
Pay Rate: £90 – £110 per day
Contract: Daily Supply
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to provide daily supply support in a secondary school in the Sherburn area. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in secondary education or those with prior classroom or youth work experience.

Cover Supervisor Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support pupils to remain engaged and on task

Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons
Requirements

Experience working with secondary-aged pupils

Strong classroom presence and communication skills

Ability to manage behaviour confidently

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
