Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to introduce a passionate Drama Teacher into a school serving the Sheffield S35 region, encouraging creativity and self‑expression.

As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ communication, teamwork, and self-expression within a supportive and structured learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic drama lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage pupils to explore performance, improvisation, and storytelling.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Support school productions, performances, and extracurricular creative projects.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
