Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to welcome an Art Teacher to schools in Sheffield’s S35 community, fostering imagination, skill development, and a passion for visual arts.
In this role, the Art Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage creativity, build technical skills, and develop students’ confidence in artistic expression, while maintaining an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Responsibilities of Art Teacher:
- Plan and deliver well-structured art lessons across a variety of mediums.
- Encourage pupils to explore creativity, develop techniques, and express ideas visually.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inspiring learning atmosphere.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school arts initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching art in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management, creativity, and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
