Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Do you enjoy guiding learners to build literacy skills while fostering a deep appreciation for literature?

GSL Education are searching for an experienced English Teacher to join schools within the Sheffield S35 community, delivering engaging lessons that strengthen reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that motivate pupils, encourage analytical thinking, and foster a love for language and literature.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across all year groups.
  • Support pupils in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Maintain a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently as an English Teacher.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
