Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you confident in managing a classroom and keeping pupils focused when their regular teacher is absent?

GSL Education are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Sheffield (S35), supervising classes and ensuring lessons run smoothly.

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will deliver pre-prepared work, maintain classroom discipline, and support pupils to stay on task throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes and deliver set work as a Cover Supervisor.
  • Maintain positive behaviour and a productive learning environment.
  • Support pupils with their work and answer questions where appropriate.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil engagement.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Confident, adaptable, and professional approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
