Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Facilitate exploration of beliefs, values, and ethics, helping learners develop critical thinking and respect for diversity.

GSL Education are excited to recruit a passionate RE Teacher for a school in the S11 area of Sheffield.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage pupils to understand and discuss different worldviews, fostering an inclusive and thoughtful classroom environment.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver RE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage discussion, reflection, and critical thinking.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support wider school initiatives related to cultural and spiritual development.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
