Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to hire a Geography Teacher for schools in Sheffield’s S11 community, inspiring learners through engaging lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
In this role, the Geography Teacher will plan and deliver lessons that build map skills, environmental awareness, and analytical thinking, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Encourage pupils to think critically about environmental, social, and global topics.
- Maintain positive behaviour and an effective learning environment.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school objectives.
Requirements of Geography Teacher:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching geography in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
