Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are pleased to recruit an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a school in the S11 area of Sheffield.

As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging practical lessons that develop pupils’ fitness, sporting skills, and resilience in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver PE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and participation in physical activities.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed sporting environment.
  • Support extracurricular sports and school events.
  • Monitor pupil progress and encourage healthy lifestyles.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a PE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
