Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to appoint a Drama Teacher to work with schools in the Sheffield (S11) area, bringing passion and energy to the classroom while developing pupils’ theatrical skills.

In this role, the Drama Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage creativity, collaboration, and self-expression, helping students explore drama techniques, performance, and stagecraft.

Core Role Expectations:

  • Plan and deliver imaginative drama lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage pupils to participate actively and develop confidence in performance.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment as Drama Teacher.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive, motivating feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support wider school arts initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching drama in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management, creativity, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
