Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Inspire creativity and self-expression in pupils through visual arts and design.
GSL Education are delighted to recruit a passionate Art Teacher to support a school in the S11 area of Sheffield.
As an Art Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ artistic skills, creativity, and confidence in a supportive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured art lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, and artistic expression.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support school exhibitions and creative projects.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as an Art Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
