Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Ensure pupils remain focused and supported during short-term teacher absences.
GSL Education are excited to appoint a confident Cover Supervisor for schools based in the S11 area of Sheffield.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will deliver pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and maintain a productive learning atmosphere throughout the school day.
Key Duties:
- Supervise classes using prepared lesson materials.
- Maintain a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support pupils with tasks and respond to general questions.
- Report any concerns or issues to senior staff.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school role.
- Strong behaviour management and organisational skills.
- Confident communication and classroom presence.
- Commitment to safeguarding and school procedures.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
