Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S5, S9), delivering engaging lessons that promote understanding of different religions and worldviews.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will create an inclusive learning environment where pupils feel confident to explore ideas, ask questions, and develop respect for diverse perspectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver meaningful RE lessons across different year groups.
  • Encourage pupils to reflect on moral, social, and cultural topics.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as an RE Teacher.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
