Location: Malton
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to work in a secondary school in the Malton area. The role involves delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons to KS3 and KS4 learners.

Responsibilities

Teach English across KS3 and KS4

Plan creative and structured lessons

Assess learning and provide constructive feedback

Support pupils with GCSE preparation

Encourage confidence in reading and writing
Requirements

QTS with an English specialism

Secondary teaching experience

Strong communication and organisational skills

Positive and inclusive classroom approach
