Humanities Teacher

Location: Malton
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026 

GSL Education are recruiting a Humanities Teacher to teach subjects such as History and Geography in a secondary school in the Malton area.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Humanities subjects across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan lessons aligned with curriculum objectives

  • Monitor progress and attainment

  • Prepare pupils for GCSE pathways

  • Promote discussion and critical thinking

Requirements

  • QTS with a Humanities-related specialism

  • Experience teaching at secondary level

  • Adaptable and organised teaching approach

  • Strong commitment to pupil progress
