Location: Scarborough
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time

GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in the Scarborough area. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver structured, engaging lessons and support pupils in developing confidence with numeracy and problem-solving.

The school provides a supportive learning environment with clear routines and high expectations. The Maths department works collaboratively to ensure consistency and strong outcomes across KS3 and KS4.
Responsibilities

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons

Track progress and adapt teaching strategies

Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

Promote mathematical reasoning and confidence
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management

Commitment to inclusive and high-quality teaching
