Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day supply
Support learning, maintain classroom focus, and help students stay on track with their studies!
GSL Education are excited to appoint a Cover Supervisor to work with schools in the Worksop (S81) area, providing essential support when teachers are unavailable.
In this role, the Cover Supervisor (CS) will supervise lessons, ensure a positive learning environment, and assist pupils with tasks, helping to maintain continuity in education across the school.
Core Role Expectations:
- Supervise lessons following the planned activities set by teachers.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning across all classes.
- Provide support to students with their work and encourage engagement.
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding pupil progress and any issues.
- Assist in the smooth running of the school day.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate pupils and maintain a structured learning environment.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
