Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering engaging lessons that help students understand different religions, worldviews, and moral perspectives.
As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will encourage enquiry, discussion, and reflection, supporting pupils in developing knowledge, tolerance, and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons that cover a range of religions and ethical topics.
- Support pupils in exploring values, beliefs, and moral questions as an RE Teacher.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
