Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are delighted to appoint a passionate Drama Teacher to support schools in the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley.
As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ communication, teamwork, and creative skills in a supportive and structured environment.
Key Duties:
- Deliver dynamic and interactive drama lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Encourage pupils to explore performance, improvisation, and storytelling.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Support school productions and extracurricular creative activities.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
