Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full time, Feb – Easter

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across key stages, supporting students of varying abilities, and contributing to a positive and engaging classroom environment. You will play a vital role in developing students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Plan lessons that meet the needs of students with a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and development.

Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in English.
• Strong subject knowledge of English language and literature.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire students.
• A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to teaching.
