Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their learning. You will deliver pre-prepared work, manage classroom behaviour, and provide support to students as required, helping to maintain a productive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, following provided lesson plans.
• Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and focused learning environment.
• Support students with their work, answering questions where appropriate.
• Ensure students remain engaged and complete set tasks.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
• Adapt confidently to different subjects, year groups, and classroom settings.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence in leading a classroom and maintaining discipline.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
