Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a committed Computer Science Teacher to deliver engaging and forward‑thinking lessons, supporting pupils across schools in Sheffield and within the wider S5–S9 catchment.

In this role, the Computer Science (CS) Teacher will plan and teach lessons that develop computational thinking, coding skills, and digital literacy within a structured and supportive classroom environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-planned computer science lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage pupils to develop problem-solving, programming, and analytical skills.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider learning initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
