Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are working with schools across Sheffield (S5, S9) to appoint a committed Design Technology Teacher who can deliver engaging and hands-on lessons.
In this role, the Design Technology (DT) Teacher will plan and teach lessons that develop creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills in a safe and structured learning environment.
Key Duties:
- Deliver practical and theory-based design technology lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Encourage pupils to develop creativity, technical skills, and independent thinking.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom or workshop.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider school initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and workshop management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
