Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets
Pay Rate: £90 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:15 PM

GSL Education are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a modern and welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets. This long-term, full-time role offers the valuable opportunity to make a genuine impact on pupils’ lives, with the potential to secure a permanent position.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role within the SEN team and wider school community, providing 1:1 support to pupils with high SEN needs. You will help deliver tailored interventions, promote inclusion, and support pupils’ academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities of the SEN TA:
- Provide effective 1:1 support to pupils with high SEN needs.
- Support the delivery of personalised learning and intervention plans.
- Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff.
- Follow school policies and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Strong SEN experience and knowledge.
- Recent experience in a primary school setting.
- Ability to deliver 1:1 SEN support confidently and effectively.
- Able to follow school policies and work well as part of a team.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
