Location: Filey
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a versatile Humanities Teacher to teach subjects such as History and Geography within a secondary school in the Filey area.

Responsibilities

Teach Humanities subjects across KS3 and KS4

Plan engaging and inclusive lessons

Monitor attainment and progress

Prepare pupils for GCSE courses

Encourage critical thinking and discussion
Requirements

QTS with a Humanities-related specialism

Secondary teaching experience

Adaptable and organised teaching style

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
