Location: Filey
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are recruiting an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a secondary school in the Filey area, teaching across KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities

Teach History across KS3 and KS4

Plan creative and engaging lessons

Assess learning and track pupil progress

Prepare pupils for GCSE History

Promote analytical and evaluative skills
Requirements

QTS with a Humanities or History specialism

Experience teaching History at secondary level

Strong classroom presence

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
