Maths Teacher
Location: Filey
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a confident Maths Teacher to work in a secondary school in the Filey area. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver structured lessons and support pupils in developing strong numeracy and problem-solving skills.

The school has a clear focus on academic progress, consistency, and high expectations. The Maths department works collaboratively to ensure pupils are supported across KS3 and KS4.
Responsibilities

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons

Monitor progress and adapt teaching accordingly

Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

Promote confidence and mathematical reasoning
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
