Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring, in collaboration with schools across Sheffield serving the S5 and S9 communities, to appoint a passionate Science Teacher who can deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
The Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons that encourage students to question, investigate, and think critically. You will create a positive learning environment where pupils feel confident exploring scientific concepts across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Key Responsibilities of Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned science lessons.
- Encourage practical investigations and hands-on learning.
- Support students in developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a structured, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum.
Who We’re Looking For:
- QTS or PGCE with a specialism in Science.
- Strong subject knowledge across the science disciplines.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
