Job Title: Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Ready to make a meaningful impact by fostering resilience and positive behaviour in pupils.
Schools in Sheffield, covering the S5 and S9 areas, and GSL Education are seeking a resilient and patient Behaviour Support Staff to support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
In this role, the Behaviour Support Staff will work closely with pupils to promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning within a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group behavioural support.
- Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies and plans.
- Support pupils in developing social skills and emotional awareness.
- Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff to monitor progress.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as Behaviour Support Staff or in a similar role.
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
