Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join schools in Sheffield (S2, S3), engaging students in the study of our planet, its people, and environments while developing knowledge and critical thinking skills.

The Role:

As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver stimulating lessons, support individual and group learning, and foster a positive classroom environment where students can explore physical and human geography with curiosity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities of Geography Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Geography lessons.
  • Support students individually and in small groups to meet learning objectives.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and active engagement in the classroom.
  • Develop students’ understanding of physical, human, and environmental geography.
  • Work closely with colleagues to implement tailored learning strategies.
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • A patient, enthusiastic, and inspiring approach to education.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
