Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Pay rate: Upto 220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are working with schools in Sheffield (S13) to appoint a committed Computer Science Teacher who can deliver engaging and practical lessons.

In this role, the Computer Science (CS) Teacher will plan and teach lessons that develop programming, problem-solving, and computational thinking within a supportive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured computer science lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Support pupils in developing coding, analytical, and digital skills.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider learning goals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
