Job Title: Pastoral Lead
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced Pastoral Lead to work in schools across Sheffield (S5, S9), focusing on pupil welfare, behaviour, and emotional support.

As a Pastoral Lead, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, safeguarding, and supporting pupils who require additional guidance both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide wellbeing and behavioural support to pupils as a Pastoral Lead.
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and external agencies.
  • Implement pastoral strategies that improve attendance, behaviour, and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding processes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or safeguarding role within education.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • A compassionate and resilient approach to supporting young people.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
