1:1 Support Assistant
Location: Filey
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to provide tailored support to a pupil with additional needs in a secondary school setting.
About the School
The school follows a personalised support approach, ensuring pupils receive consistent 1:1 assistance to access learning and regulate behaviour effectively.
Responsibilities

Provide individualised 1:1 support throughout the school day

Support access to the curriculum and lesson activities

Assist with emotional regulation and confidence building

Work closely with teaching and SEN staff
Requirements

Previous experience in a 1:1 support role preferred

Calm, nurturing, and consistent approach

Ability to follow support plans and strategies

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
