Learning Support Assistant
Location: Filey
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work within a secondary school in the Filey area. This role involves supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 who require additional academic and pastoral support.

The school promotes inclusive practice and provides structured support for pupils who face barriers to learning. Staff work closely to ensure learners feel supported, engaged, and able to progress confidently.
Responsibilities

Support pupils in lessons and intervention sessions

Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities

Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

Support pupils with organisation and task completion
Requirements

Experience supporting pupils in a school or education setting

Patient, reliable, and proactive approach

Strong communication skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
