Early Years Practitioner
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £85 – £110 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time
GSL Education are currently recruiting a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Newcastle. This Early Years Practitioner role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young children during the most important stage of their development.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work closely with the early years team to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework. The setting is keen to appoint an Early Years Practitioner who is caring, patient, and committed to creating a safe and stimulating learning environment.
The Role of the Early Years Practitioner Will Include:

Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities.

Delivering activities in line with the EYFS curriculum as an Early Years Practitioner.

Supporting children’s social, emotional, and personal development.

Working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis where required.

Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Providing a high standard of safeguarding and pastoral care as an Early Years Practitioner.
The Ideal Early Years Practitioner Will:

Be available to work Monday to Friday.

Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable).

Be warm, patient, and enthusiastic.

Have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Have a fully checkable work history.
