About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver lessons across various subjects, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students’ learning. You will ensure continuity of education and provide a safe and engaging learning environment during staff absence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prepared lessons across different subjects and year groups.
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and structured environment.
- Support students’ engagement, learning, and progression.
- Follow existing lesson plans and school procedures to ensure consistency.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson delivery and student performance.
- Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to suit different classes and learning needs.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Experience managing classrooms and engaging students of varying abilities.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects, classes, and teaching environments.
- Flexible, reliable, and confident in delivering lessons at short notice.
