Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to help students access the curriculum, achieve their learning goals, and develop essential life skills. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, building confidence, and supporting the well-being of all pupils.

Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, helping them access lessons and complete activities.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Encourage independence, engagement, and participation in learning activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and activities.
• Help manage classroom resources and create a safe, organised learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents as required.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is preferred.
• Understanding of supporting students with additional needs or SEND.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to supporting students.
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of students and the classroom environment.
