Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

Are you a motivated and energetic Sports Coach passionate about inspiring young people through physical activity? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Sports Coach to work in schools across Sheffield, supporting students’ physical development, confidence, and engagement in learning.

About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will deliver engaging sports sessions and support students during PE lessons and extracurricular activities. You will play a key role in promoting physical well-being, teamwork, and positive behaviour while working closely with teaching staff to enhance students’ overall school experience.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging sports and physical activity sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities.
• Support PE lessons and assist teachers with lesson delivery where required.
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, and positive behaviour through structured activities.
• Promote physical fitness, confidence, and participation among students.
• Adapt activities to meet individual needs, including students with additional needs.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment during all physical activities.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a Sports Coach or in a similar role with children or young people.
• A strong understanding of a range of sports and physical activities.
• Ability to motivate, engage, and manage groups of students effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to work.
