Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Do you aim to inspire pupils to manage behaviour effectively and enhance their personal development.
GSL Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic Behaviour Support/Mentor staff to work in schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), providing targeted support to pupils who need guidance in behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis, helping them manage behaviour, build confidence, and engage fully with learning.
Key Duties:
- Provide tailored support to pupils as a Behaviour Support/Mentor.
- Implement behaviour strategies and interventions in line with school policies.
- Build strong relationships with pupils to encourage positive choices.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams
Essentials Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or social needs.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
