Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you passionate about inspiring pupils to explore the world of science and develop critical thinking skills?

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), delivering engaging lessons that cover biology, chemistry, physics, and scientific enquiry.

As a Science Teacher, you will support pupils in developing practical skills, fostering curiosity, and building a strong understanding of scientific concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across the curriculum.
  • Support pupils in developing analytical, practical, and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as a Science Teacher.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence in teaching science.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
