Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teacher to provide structured, nurturing, and consistent support for pupils. The role is based in schools throughout the Sheffield area, covering the S2 and S3 districts.
In this role, the Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teacher will plan and deliver personalised lessons that support emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and academic progress within a calm and safe environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored lessons to meet SEMH learning needs.
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies.
- Maintain a structured, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches where required.
- Work closely with pastoral teams, SEN staff, and external professionals.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as an SEMH Teacher or in a similar setting.
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
- A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
