Job Title: Pastoral Managers
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing experienced Pastoral Managers to lead pastoral care and provide consistent support to pupils. The role is based in schools throughout the Sheffield area, covering the S2 and S3 districts.
In this role as Pastoral Manager, you will oversee wellbeing strategies, manage behaviour and attendance concerns, and work closely with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the right support at the right time.
Key Responsibilities of Pastoral Managers:
- Lead and coordinate pastoral support across the school.
- Support pupils with wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance needs.
- Work closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and safeguarding leads.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and external services.
- Monitor and record pastoral interventions and outcomes.
Requirements of Pastoral Managers:
- Previous experience in a pastoral, safeguarding, or student support role.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A calm, empathetic, and professional approach to student support.
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
