Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you confident managing a classroom and ensuring pupils remain engaged in the absence of their regular teacher?
GSL Education are currently seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), providing classroom supervision and maintaining a positive learning environment.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure pupils stay on task throughout the lesson.
What the Position Involves:
- Supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons as a Cover Supervisor.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behaviour for learning.
- Support pupils with their work and answer basic queries where possible.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil engagement and conduct.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A confident, adaptable, and professional approach.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
